Services
Our services are offered comprehensively, or tailored to meet the specific customer and project needs. Typically our scope-of-services fall within one of three categories:
- Full turn-key, (design and production)
- Design only, for open or sole source bid
- A la carte, line item approach.
Our knowledge of fabrication and production techniques keeps us current with industry trends and leaders. Our project management disciplines ensure on time, on budget, museum quality results. Although there are many similarities and advantages to each, we’ll point out some of the key distinctions.
- Full turn-key - There are distinct advantages to handling work turn-key. Highlights include: “more bang for the buck”, enhanced quality control, and single-source responsibility.
- Design only - Execution of the work will be handled in a variety of document forms: Sketches, Design Development Drawings, Construction Control Documents, Renderings and Graphic Layouts. The intent of the documents will be two-fold: (1) to illustrate the final completed project and (2) to provide specifications for construction.
Design documents will be prepared for two primary audiences: (1) the owner and (2) other participating groups. Services will cover initial ideas, design development, finished renderings and production of construction drawings. Design work will be handled in four phases, (1) Conceptualization and Planning, (2) Design development, (3) Final Design & Construction Control Documents and (4) Construction Administration.
- Specific task - This approach is on a “per item” basis. For reasons of their own, a customer may choose one, two, or three services only. This is a common approach most utilized by other project professionals when we participate in a subcontracting role.
Regardless of the extent of services we are contracted to perform, we pursue the objectives along these traditional design methodologies:
- Schematic design
- Design development
- Construction documents including coordination drawings for interface with audio visual consultants and existing conditions
- Component and fixture fabrication and final graphic production
- Installation and implementation
- Project management and construction observation
