Located immediately outside admissions the Hana Ginzbarg Welcome Center is a 2,000 sq ft display hall planned and designed to welcome visitors. Per the masterplan, this goals and objectives of the Welcome Center are to deliver the most fundamental concepts of the Armand Bayou Nature Center (ABNC) – who we are, purpose, mission, and vision, as well as inform visitors of what to expect, what to look for and how best to engage.
The display collection highlights the three eco-regions Coastal Prairies, Bayou, and Riparian Forest as well as programs and organizational history. A combination of exhibit techniques – high and low tech, dioramas and graphics present the big picture is a simple and clear manner.
