Sponsored by the local University medical system, the health area known as "the Ambulance" is a highly interactive and fun introduction to the world of health care. The primary goal for the project is to have small children be more at ease with all things health care.

Designed for the youngest museum guests, children 3 and 4 years of age the displays are highly visual and thin on text. Interactive displays inside the ambulance include Body Systems, X-Ray and Heartbeat. Outside the ambulance children can get behind the wheel, activate flashing lights, work a simple 6-piece puzzle or step over and get their height and weight checked.
