This is the project that started it all. As an individual, Matt Kaser was hired and relocated to Ft Lauderdale to design and complete the newly constructed science museum. The building designed by Boston architect, E Vernor Johnson, the exhibit program consisted of five galleries: Ecology, Kid Science, Sound, Space, Home Technology, Health and the outdoor Esplande all authored and designed by Matt Kaser. Once complete, Matt returned to Texas and opened his business on January 4, 1992.
The highlights of the $9,000,000, 27,000 sq. ft. of new exhibits included the live salt and fresh water tanks, Repair the Satellite, and Kid Science. Total time to complete from start to finish was four years.
