The Franklin Institute’s Future Space is a 5,000 sq. ft. educational exhibit with highly interactive exhibits that give visitors hands on experiences within a prototype section of a space station. Highly realistic station bays, covering many aspects of life in space, allow visitors to explore and enjoy flying in a MMU (man maneuvering unit) while assembling space station truss, flying a jet through airless space, repairing a faulty computer, or trying robotic mining.
