An interpretive plan uniquely focuses on the story of the environment rather than the Master Plan elements. What is the inherent quality of the site? What makes the site distinctly authentic? What, elements, if any, are already in place and must be considered? This planning phase is centered on research and scrutiny of these elements to construct a living document presenting the themes, sub-themes, goals, objectives, and storylines. It also incorporates an analysis of the target audience, management concerns, and potential media uses.
