The love, appetite, and participation in sports is almost unmatched by any other subject in America. Sports are a fantastic portal to look into and explore the world of science.  “Behind every Sport, Science is at Play” is the theme of this new 5,000 sq ft exhibit.
Seven years in the making, Science of Sports features a wide variety of highly interactive exhibits featuring VR games, classic science center displays, as well as interactive exhibits challenging guests with critical thinking, accuracy, jumping, balancing, and fast reaction.  The sports desk strategically locate in the center of the room have touch screen interactive for guests to explore. For programming the desk provides a location for staff to present and demonstrate science ideas, content and lessons.
Over 100 sports are included from badminton, table tennis, to sailing, boxing, baseball and the Texas king of all sports football.
