In an effort to improve the visitor experience at the 61-acre park, Silver Dollar City (SDC) asked Kaser Design (KD) to improve the “in-park” wayfinding system. The primary goal was to improve navigational communication with the objective that visitors will better understand how best to travel the park.
Respecting the success of the 1881 themed park, KD created solutions with two distinct approaches – make best use of existing park elements, or introduce new and clean signage. Site-wide planning gave analysis to critical junctions, site lines, and competing visual elements. Phase I initial concepts were to be developed in phase II followed by implementation.
